Michelle Robinson Calgary-East
Michelle is proud to call Calgary-East home. She is a second generation Albertan in the energy industry, drafting wells and pipelines and owning a geomatic supply company. She knows the issues facing the people of Calgary-East including the need for jobs, improvements to school infrastructure, playground upgrades, smaller classroom sizes, and mental health supports.
Michelle is the Indigenous liaison for 12 Community Safety Initiative, a co-chair of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls & Two Spirit Calgary committee, a co-founder of VOICES, a group advocating for the Two Spirit, and queer people of colour in Calgary & is the national vice chair of Membership and Organization of the Indigenous Peoples’ Commission. Michelle was the first First Nation to run for city council of Calgary.
