Faiza immigrated to Montreal when she was 8 years old and then moved to Calgary 10 years ago. She is fluent in three languages French, English and Somali. She is married with five children. Faiza volunteers with a variety of organizations and is also continuing her education. She believes strongly in the Liberal values of individual freedoms, equality of opportunity and fairness for future generations.
