Former School Trustee Wins Nomination

Carole Oliver is the Alberta Liberal candidate in Calgary Fort.

This isn’t Carole’s first foray into public life. She was elected a public school trustee in Calgary’s 2001 municipal election, representing Wards 6 and 7. In October 2002, she became vice-chair of the Calgary Board of Trustees and served one term before returning to work in social housing.

Carole is committed to social justice issues. Her goal is to build an Alberta where all Albertans can participate, work, live and enjoy the opportunities of this prosperous province.
