“I think we need to be the servants of the people to make this province what it can be.” - Tony Vonesch
Born in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Tony Vonesch has lived in Alberta for 32 years and is a 23 year resident of Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills. He currently works as an agricultural consultant, and lives with his wife of 32 years, Judith. Tony’s agricultural credentials include previous experience working as both a dairy, beef and hay farmer, in addition to his experience working with Gross Cash Registers Ltd. in the UK.
While Tony has previously been the Chairman of “Olds Neighbourhood Place” and has served on the Olds Agricultural Society, he admits that his life now revolves around two pillars: Agriculture, and his family, which includes his 6 children.
When pressed on the most important issues facing the residents of Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills, Tony identifies the need for increasing the capacity in the in the province’s secondary education system and addressing Alberta’s infrastructure deficit – especially the state of the province’s secondary highways.
Tony is candid about his reasons for pursuing public office: “I want to be part of the process that makes this province a better place to live in.”
