Joyce Assen

Joyce Assen is a manager for the University of Alberta Travel Program and has a BA from the same school. She has 20 years of experience working in finance and governance at post-secondary institutions in Alberta.

An active member of her community, Joyce is on the board of the Alberta Legacy Development Society, and in the past she served on both the County and City of Leduc School Boards. She has also been on the executive board for the Otters Swim Club, the Parks and Recreation Board, and two pre-school groups.

Joyce has been married to her husband, John, for more than 40 years, and together they have two children. In her spare time she enjoys reading and golfing.
