John Croken is a real estate agent and former alderman for the city of Grande Prairie. Additionally, he was a Separate School Board Trustee for 18 years, three years of which he spent as the chairman of the board, and was on the board of directors for the Alberta School Board Association.
He has a Certificate in Business Management from the University of Alberta.
His record of community service is long and varied. He is a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and is also involved with the Knights of Columbus, the Alberta Historical Society, and the Grande Prairie & District Old Timers’ Association.
John enjoys many outdoor pursuits such as camping, fishing, and hunting. He also spends his free time curling and playing cards.
