Chris Kibermanis, Edmonton-Castle Downs
Chris grew up north of Edmonton in the Town of Gibbons. He studied commerce at Concordia University College and later studied at NAIT to become a certified Journeyman welder. An accomplished hockey player, he played junior hockey in Red Deer and was even drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in 1994.
Chris has learned a lot about Albertans as he has travelled across the provnince. He understands that Albertans are generally concerned about things that affect their family’s everyday lives. Things such as quality, accessible healthcare and education that prepares our young people to be strong and productive citizens.
Chris is active in the community, giving his time and effort to causes such as the “Raise the Roof” campaign for Edmonton Housing and as a member of the Cumberland-Oxford community league executive.
Chris is married to his spouse of 5 years, Candace, and they have three children, including two newly-born twins.
