“There’s a ‘new urban reality’ in Alberta and our current government has NOT kept pace with the times. The PC Government is worn-out, like a car or appliance built in 1971. It’s time for new ideas, democratic renewal, and a change in government.” - Pat Murray

Pat Murray - Calgary North Hill
Pat has already door knocked thousands of homes in Calgary-North Hill, and over and over again he’s asked: Do you live in the riding? The answer is: YES! The other question he’s often asked is: What’s important to you? The answer comes without hesitation: Fully funded public/essential services and better protection of the environment.
Pat is the owner of a successful small business specializing in sanitation, wastewater and environmental remediation. He believes in equality and the common good, and is an active member and supporter of the following non-profit organizations: Alberta Guide Dog Association, Council of Canadians, Parkland Institute, David Suzuki Foundation, CKUA Radio, Mustard Seed, World Wildlife Federation, and Friends of Medicare.
Prior to operating his own business, Pat played professional hockey in Europe, travelled throughout Canada marketing Rollerblade Inc. products, was an Assistant to a Federal Cabinet Minister, and held senior sales and management positions in various industries.
Pat works hard to earn a living and does not believe “profit is a dirty word.” Rather, he believes it’s essential that a balance be struck between industry and the environment, social responsibility and economic sustainability.
In their spare time, Pat and Jenn attend much of Calgary’s live arts scene, and walking the dogs is a daily ritual.
