Ron Reinhold, Calgary-Cross
A native of Vancouver, BC, Ron Reinhold has spent almost 11 years as a resident of Alberta. After completing his primary education in Surrey, Ron obtained his B.Sc. in Microbiology and his B.M.L.Sc in Laboratory Science at the University of British Columbia. Upon moving to Alberta, Ron continued his education by completing his Legal Assistant Diploma from the South Alberta Institute of Technology in 2004.
Ron currently owns his own business, Rainbow Investigations, where he has assisted organizations such as W5 and the CBC with a number of consumer advocacy investigations. Additionally, he works as a part time Continuing Education Instructor at Bow Valley College.
An active member of his community, Ron has been on the board of the Schizophrenia Society of Alberta for 4 years, including 2 years as Vice-Chair of the Calgary Chapter. Having a fondness for sports, Ron has also spent 14 years as a minor hockey referee and 15 years as a certified softball umpire.
Ron hopes to be an active voice for Calgary-Cross in the Legislature. His most pressing concerns are: creating a Post Secondary endowment fund, ending Health Care premiums, and developing alternative energy sources.
