Advocate for quick, fair, and effective resolution of land claims for Alberta’s First Nations.
Double provincial funding for Friendship Centres.
Take specific measures to improve Aboriginal health care and education, as outlined earlier in this document.
Raise the profile of Aboriginal health by appointing a Director of Aboriginal Health within Health and Wellness.
Heighten cultural awareness among health professionals, and encourage Aboriginal people to enter health professions.
Establish urban-Aboriginal health centres.
