Taft delivers speech to sold out crowd

On Friday, September 14, Alberta Liberal Leader Kevin Taft outlined a new vision for Alberta’s economic future to an overflow crowd of over 500 Alberta Liberals at the fourth annual Connections Dinner at Edmonton’s Italian Cultural Center.

Kevin Taft’s speech outlined the Alberta Liberal plan that would, in the form of inter-provincial cooperation, transform Western Canada into a Western Tiger, with Alberta as the heart of that tiger.

As Premier, Taft would call for a meeting of western provinces, with an agenda of turning western Canada into an energy superpower.
