Nancy Cavanaugh nominated in Edmonton Whitemud

In a contested nomination race on Wednesday, May 16, Nancy Cavanaugh was nominated as the Alberta Liberal candidate for Edmonton Whitemud.

A teacher with the Edmonton Public School Board for 6 years, Nancy was previously elected for three consecutive terms to the Public School Board in Fort McMurray. Nancy also served as a Director of the Public School Boards Association of Alberta.

Nancy Cavanaugh advocates effective, open and accessible government for Albertans, and believes that our wealth today should be used to invest in the long-term sustainability of the province and its people, through diversification of our economy, through infrastructure, and through a healthy and well educated people.
