Kent Hehr is the nominated Alberta Liberal candidate in Calgary Buffalo.
Born and educated in Calgary, Kent Hehr started his post-secondary education at Mount Royal College before moving to the University of Calgary to complete his degrees in Canadian Studies and Law. Following graduation, Kent joined the national law firm of Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP, where he continues to practice today.
Kent’s community involvement includes serving as the Chairman of the Canadian Paraplegic Association, Chairman of the City of Calgary Advisory Committee on Accessibility, Director of the Downtown West Community Association, Director of the Calgary Canucks Jr. “ A” Alumni, and is on the leadership committee of the United Way of Calgary.
Kent was named by the University of Calgary Alumni Association as the graduate of the decade and was named as one of Calgary’s ‘Top 40 under 40’ by Calgary Inc. magazine.
