Debbie Cavaliere to run in Edmonton-Meadowlark

Debbie Cavaliere has been nominated as the Alberta Liberal candidate in Edmonton-Meadowlark. Cavaliere is a former Trustee for the Edmonton Catholic School District and served as Board Chair from 2005 to 2006.

Alberta Liberal Leader Kevin Taft congratulated Cavaliere on her nomination. “Debbie has a proven record of hard work and public service, and I’m thrilled that she’ll be running as an Alberta Liberal candidate in the next election,” says Taft. “She is a great addition to our team, and I look forward to working with her. She will make a fantastic MLA and do her utmost to represent the citizens of Edmonton-Meadowlark.”

Edmonton-Meadowlark is currently held by Alberta Liberal MLA Maurice Tougas, who will step aside from politics to pursue other interests when the next election is called.
