Cathie Williams to seek Alberta Liberal nomination in Calgary-Egmont

Cathie Williams, Chair of the Calgary Catholic School District, announced today that she is withdrawing as a candidate for separate school trustee to seek the Alberta Liberal nomination in Calgary-Egmont.

Williams has been the Calgary Catholic School District trustee for Wards 11 and 12 since 2001, and has served as Board Chair for the last three years.

Williams was joined at today’s announcement by Alberta Liberal Caucus Deputy Leader and Calgary-Currie MLA Dave Taylor.
