Bal Boora to Represent Alberta Liberals in Lethbridge-West

Alberta Liberals in the Lethbridge-West constituency met over the weekend to nominate their candidate for the upcoming provincial election. Bal Boora edged out Chris Spearman by a close margin of 8 votes, and will begin organizing immediately for an anticipated February and March election campaign.

“Albertans are ready for a change,” said Boora, after the ballots were counted. “It’s time for a fresh start. The current government is out of ideas and past its best before date. I’m excited to represent the Alberta Liberals, and I’ll be working hard to earn the privilege of serving the constituents of Lethbridge-West.”

Alberta Liberal Leader Kevin Taft welcomes Boora to the growing Alberta Liberal team. “We’re putting together a fantastic slate of candidates,” says Taft “and having Bal on board makes us that much stronger. I wish him and his supporters all the best as they get down to work. I also want to thank Chris Spearman for running as a very credible candidate in this nomination process, and I wish Chris all the best.”

Incumbent Alberta Liberal MLA Bridget Pastoor has the nomination in Lethbridge-East, and will round out the Alberta Liberal slate in Lethbridge.
