Alberta Liberals pitch-in to support by-election candidates

On Saturday May 26, Alberta Liberals from across the province were on the ground volunteering in the by-elections in Calgary Elbow and Drumheller-Stettler.

Alberta Liberal leader Kevin Taft joined Calgary Elbow candidate Craig Cheffins in welcoming volunteers at Cheffins’ campaign headquarters in Calgary.

“There is real momentum building in these campaign teams. It’s exciting to see Alberta Liberals working hard to support our candidates,” said Taft.

“These by-elections are a real opportunity for voters in Calgary Elbow and Drumheller-Stettler to look at what their choices are. We will be working hard this weekend to reach every voter,” continued Taft.

Calgary Elbow candidate Craig Cheffins is a Mount Royal College manager and former President of the Lakeview Community Association. He would be the fourth member of the Calgary Alberta Liberal Caucus.

Drumheller-Stettler candidate Tom Dooley is a cattle rancher and a former County Councillor and Deputy Reeve in the County of Badlands.
