A Million Dollar Year!

Annual statements submitted to Elections Alberta show fortunes are on the upswing for the Alberta Liberals.

At $1.024 million, revenue to the party increased 30 per cent in 2006. Meanwhile, the Party’s debt – once at $1 million – had dropped to just $596,000 by year end.

Dan Carroll, President of the Party, is elated, “Clearly, Albertans are gaining confidence in the Alberta Liberals and in the leadership of Kevin Taft.

“People are checking us out and liking what they see. We’re a solid, positive party with new ideas and a real work ethic. That’s attracting new people, and the numbers tell the story.”
