February 8th, 2014: Town Hall on Seniors Supportive Living and Long Term Care

All are welcome to attend a Town Hall meeting on Seniors Supportive Living and Long Term Care hosted by the Edmonton Gold Bar Liberal Constituency Association.

As our population ages, Alberta's supportive living and long term care facilities will face increasing pressure to provide quality, affordable care for our seniors. The current situation of insufficient spaces in these facilities has far reaching impacts on seniors in terms of where they may live, the ability to retain connections with friends and family, and the stress placed on other aspects of the health care system, notably acute care beds.
This town hall will provide an opportunity for small and large group discussions on the issues, underlying causes and potential solutions.
